ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/COMMUNITY SUPPORTS RESOURCE COORDINATOR (Providence, RUI in Providence, RI

Assists the Director, four Urban Core team managers and supervisors, and two auxiliary partner agencies with strategic and operational activities to enhance the infrastructure of the system of care, including coordinating community outreach/engagement activities and developing and maintaining a volunteer staff of Parent Support Partners and Youth Support Partners. Masters degree with 3 to 5 years of organizational experience in a complex organizational and financial non-profit environment or bachelors and experience, or Bachelors with equivalent experience. Direct experience recruiting and maintaining volunteer staff and/or community development preferred. Ability to create and operationalize a strategic plan for volunteer programming and community mapping. Wrap Certified; or able and willing to work to achieve Wraparound Certification within 8 months of hire. Advanced critical thinking skills, creativity, and flexibility in meeting changing priorities and demands, ability to think in broad and detailed terms, keen attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a diverse Team. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse community members and organizations.
